Installation instructions

1. Download the installer

   Use the download button above to get the latest beta APK.

2. Install the APK with Mobile VR Station

   Download and open Mobile VR Station. Select Configuration Wizard, Show All Options, Configure Manage All Files, and then Open Files. Find the installer APK and select Install.

3. Grant storage access

   Open the installer, press Grant Access, and allow the requested storage permissions. Choose the Recommended Method. The backup method is only for players who had Echo VR before the shutdown.

4. Get your patched APK link

   Press Get APK to open the Patcher Server. Go to #patch-quest-or-pc and react to the Quest message. Your APK will appear in a thread in the #threads channel. Press and hold the link, then select Copy text.

5. Start the installation

   Return to the installer, press Paste Link, and then press Install. The download screen will open.

6. Finish installing Echo VR

   Once the APK downloads, follow the security prompt to allow the installer to install apps. When asked, install Echo VR. On the next prompt, select Close—do not select Restore.

   After intstalling the APK, press Extract Data and wait.

   You will then be brought to the post-install screen. Press the grant permissions button before launching the game, after granting permissions press Launch echo.

   To launch the game without using the installer, it will either be in your library, or in unkown sources.

7. Link your headset

   When Echo VR opens, note the four-letter code. In the Echo VR Lounge server, go to #command-central, press Link EchoVRCE, and enter the code. Restart the game after linking, and you’re ready to play.
